Egypt Covington’s family still waiting for justice 5 years after her murder

Egypt Covington was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head and her body wrapped in Christmas lights on June 22, 2017. The Van Buren Township 27-year-old woman was found dead at 7:15 p.m. inside her home in the 45000 block of Hull Road. Covington’s boyfriend at the time was the person who found her inside her home. As Wednesday marks the fifth year anniversary of Covington’s murder, the family expresses their emotions.
