Michigan State University students return to campus 1 week after mass shooting

An anxious day at Michigan State University as tens of thousands of students returned to class one week after a gunman opened fire, killing three students and injuring five others. One of the student's conditions has been upgraded from critical to serious. So in total, one is in fair condition, two are now in serious but stable condition, and two students remain in critical condition, and that update comes as students headed back to class for the first time since the shooting happened.
