Allen Park postal worker death: Fiancée slams ‘gross, inhumane’ statement from USPS

The fiancée of an Allen Park postal worker who was killed by a machine at the facility slammed the “gross” and “inhumane” statement from USPS about his death. Nicholas John Acker, 36, of Trenton, was found stuck in a machine Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at the USPS Detroit Network Distribution Center in Allen Park. Firefighters said Acker had been dead for 6-8 hours before they arrived. The investigation is ongoing, and his family is still looking for answers.
