Man pleads guilty to killing well-known Detroit neurosurgeon, 67-year-old man

The man accused of killing a well-known Detroit neurosurgeon and a 67-year-old Dearborn driver pleaded guilty on Wednesday, ending jury selection. Desmond Burks, 35, entered a plea agreement that dropped the first-degree murder charge against him, but he pleaded guilty to eight other counts in two separate cases.
