Detroit students compete for school funding in Bookstock writing contest

Bookstock is honoring fourth grade students from Detroit Public Schools and DPS-authorized charter schools tonight at its annual BEST Awards ceremony at Laurel Park Place. The awards recognize students who entered a writing contest this year, with prize money going to their schools and teachers.
