Eastpointe issues new pet ordinances

In Eastpointe, it is now mandatory to microchip your pet if it is 4 months old or older in the city. This is the first city in Michigan to have mandatory microchipping. You will also no longer be allowed to have your pets in the back of a truck bed in the city. And if you have more than one cat in your home in Eastpointe, at least one of them has to be neutered or spayed.
