Crash causes NB I-275 to close at 7 Mile

A crash caused a stretch of northbound I-275 to close Friday morning. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) reported the closure at 7 Mile just after 3:30 a.m. on May 1. As of 6:45 a.m., the freeway is still closed to traffic. An alternate route drivers can take is heading eastbound on 7 Mile, then northbound on Haggerty, then westbound on 8 Mile, to get back on northbound I-275. Injuries in the crash are not known.
