DTW just spent $25M to make parking easier. Here’s how it works

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) has implemented a $25 million parking guidance system in its McNamara and Evans terminal garages, using color-coded lights to indicate space availability and improve efficiency and security. The system is supported by the Park Assist app, which provides live updates and helps locate vehicles, and installation is underway for the Big Blue Deck, expected to go live by 2026.
