Go 4 It event helps Metro Detroit families keep kids safe with car seat checks, helmet fittings

Families across Metro Detroit received important safety tips and resources during Local 4’s Go 4 It event, focused on helping keep children safe while riding in vehicles and on bicycles. The event featured child safety seat inspections and bike helmet fittings, allowing parents and caregivers to make sure children were properly protected. Safety experts worked with families throughout the day, checking car seats for proper installation and making adjustments as needed. Organizers said even small changes can make a major difference in preventing injuries. The event also included free bike helmet fittings, with children receiving helmets and guidance on how to wear them correctly.
