EB I-94 near I-275 traffic shift begins this weekend -- here's what to know

I-94 E is about to switch onto the westbound lanes. Drivers can expect two lanes for both directions. The Restore I-94 project will reconstruct roughly 13 miles of I-94 between I-275 to Michigan Avenue (US-12) to repair pavement, rebuild bridges, upgrade interchanges, and modernize freeway systems across Romulus, Taylor, Allen Park, Dearborn Heights, Melvindale and Dearborn.
