Man who led police on chase over stolen plants in Eastpoint charged after hitting officer with truck

Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido announced that Jeremy Jamel Johnson, 37, of Detroit, was arraigned on multiple felony charges and is being held on a $1 million bond after allegedly fleeing from police during an arrest attempt, striking an officer with his truck and running over the officer’s ankle.
