Parents shocked after toddler brings loaded gun to daycare

Parents at Childrens World Early Learning Center in Canton say they were shocked to get a message from the school Monday, saying a toddler had brought a loaded firearm to the school in a backpack. The message said the child's father is a police officer, which could be how the child had access to the gun.    Canton Police Chief Joseph Bialy said the child's other parent was arrested, and the case will be sent to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office for review after an investigation. He said the father is an officer at a neighboring police department, and said that department is conducting an internal investigation.
