The iconic Superman ice cream flew into first place, Mackinac Island Fudge came in a close second, and Blue Moon fell in at number three. The ever so popular Michigan Pothole ice cream which consists of chocolate ice cream, thick “tar” fudge, and chunks of chocolate “asphalt” was overwhelmingly the fan favorite in our poll.

Last week was National Ice Cream Day! Because of that, we talked about these three iconic Michigan ice creams.
Superman ice cream. This tri-colored concoction is truly Michiganders' kryptonite. A mix of blue moon, yellow and red ice creams. No one can seem to figure out what the flavors are. Is the yellow lemon or vanilla? Is the red Michigan cherry or Detroit’s ever so popular Red Pop? We may never know. All we do know is it tastes amazing and it can bring anyone back to their childhood.
Blue Moon ice cream. It's known as the blue in Superman ice cream. This treat is just as elusive in the flavor department as the Superman flavor, but Michiganders cannot get enough of it.
Mackinac Island Fudge. This is probably the most popular of Michigan ice creams and no one does Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream better than Mackinac Island itself. It’s not the same getting this delicious flavor anywhere else.
