Local 4Casters say beautiful days ahead

DETROIT – If we're going to get stuck in a weather pattern, this is a good one to deal with. We are going to be stuck in beautiful October sun for another three or four days all across SE Michigan. The only change is the potential for patchy fog both Thursday and Friday mornings. Today, mostly sunny and warming to around 70 degrees. Winds will be light SE 5-10 mph.

Again, patchy areas of fog tomorrow morning with lows in the mid to upper 40s. The fog will lift in the mid and late morning hours leaving plenty of afternoon sun. Highs Thursday will be near 70 degrees once again. We may gain a degree or two the next couple of days but morning fog and low clouds may stunt temps early and make mid 70s harder to reach.

Rain chances over the next week are minimal. We have light rain expected overnight Saturday into early Sunday morning. Then, a more widespread rain maker will move through the area by Tuesday of next week.
