DETROIT – Sunday afternoon will have clouds and sun with a slight chance of rain. Most areas will be dry, and a westerly wind at 6 to 12 mph and the sun will bring high temperatures to the low 60s.

Sunday evening becomes cooler with any showers ending and temperatures in the 50s.

Sunday night will be chilly with lows in the middle 40s and clearing skies.

Monday and the rest of the week will be milder. Monday and Tuesday will be good outdoor recess days for students with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s on Monday and in the low 70s Tuesday. Rain is possible Tuesday evening and night. Wednesday will be warmer, but there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the middle 70s.

Sunnier skies will return Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be slightly cooler with highs in the upper 60s. 70 degree readings return Friday for the start of Memorial Day Weekend.
