Lingering showers, storms Saturday evening

Temps near 80

DETROIT – Labor Day Weekend will feel like summer in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. Although there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, it will not be a washout.

FORD ARTS, BEATS AND EATS
A thin line of showers and thunderstorms will race through downtown Royal Oak Saturday evening. The wet weather with heavy downpours and gusty winds will arrive around 8pm and go on and off between 60 and 90 minutes. Lightning will also be a factor so families will need to stay near study structures to duck into when they hear the first clap of thunder.
