Cold and cloudy Thursday, chance of snow

Highs in the mid 30s

DETROIT – Mostly cloudy skies most of the day as highs reach near 32 degrees… that's it. Winds will be light from the NNE 5-10 m.p.h. making it feel even cooler all day.

Current computer models have backed off snow chances for later today. Still, we may see a few light snow showers in our southern counties as a weak snow maker is present on radar back through Iowa this morning. We'll keep an eye on it, but expect dry conditions in the meantime.

Friday through the weekend looks very mild with highs near 40 degrees and mostly dry. The one exception is late Friday and early Saturday with mainly rain. We will wake up tomorrow with a few areas fighting off a light wintry mix. Otherwise, cloudy and mostly dry tomorrow with rain coming in late.

The weather pattern looks pretty calm moving forward with very little rain or snow activity over the next week or two.
