Tuesday morning showers with sunshine later

DETROIT – Clouds linger through lunch and then partly sunny in the afternoon with highs near 80 degrees and winds NNW 5-12 mph.

Moisture from Tropical Storm Bill will be close to us on Wednesday but most of Metro Detroit will still stay dry.

Most of the rain and storms will be south into Ohio but our southern counties could get clipped with some afternoon rain and thunder tomorrow afternoon with highs in the mid to maybe upper 70s.

We will likely see more rain and thunder into the afternoon Thursday as a cool front passes after highs hit near 80 degrees again.

That front sets up a perfect Friday with highs in the mid to upper 70s and mostly sunny conditions.. And, the weekend ahead looks spotty with some sun and more chances for light showers Saturday and scattered storms Sunday afteroon… stay tuned!
