DETROIT – In a topsy-turvy Detroit winter, temperatures go back above freezing this weekend. Afterwards,  rain and snow move in, and temperatures return to the wintry range.

Saturday evening gets cooler with temperatures in the middle and low 30s.

Saturday night will be partly cloudy, and Lowes will be in the upper 20s.

Sunday will be mostly gray again, but temperatures will be a bit higher. Afternoon times will be in the lower middle 40s.

Skies become overcast Sunday night, and a cold front brings precipitation. Temperatures will be above freezing, At first. Light rain will fall Sunday night and into Monday morning. During the day on Monday temperatures fall back to the freezing mark and scattered snow showers are possible.

Tuesday and the rest of next workweek remain active. Snow showers will be on and off each day and it will feel like February. Daytime temps will be in the low 30s, and overnight lows will be in the teens and 20s. The motor city will have the weather it's most famous for this time of year; "wait five minutes" weather. Snow showers will bloom then wait five minutes, And it will be dry.
