Temperatures warm above average before our next chance of rain

Cooler temperatures move in next week

4Warn Weather – Thursday brings us another chilly morning under clear skies. However, sunshine and southwesterly winds will help usher in milder conditions today.

Grab the sunglasses! An abundant amount of sunshine persists today with highs rising above average into the mid to upper 40s. A little breezy this afternoon as gusts could reach 20 mph.

Sunrise is at 7:54 a.m. Sunset is at 502 p.m.

Temperatures will be cool, but not as frigid tonight with lows around freezing overnight into Friday morning. Southwesterly winds pick on Friday helping temperatures to rise into the low 50s, but clouds will slowly increase to end the work week.

Staying dry and above average on Saturday with highs in the upper 40s. There is a chance for showers on Sunday ahead of cooler temperatures early next week.

Nationally, a winter storm will continue to bring moderate to heavy snow to portions of the Central and Southern Rockies through Friday morning. Heavy rain is expected in the southern Plains. Across the southeast, a stalled front will continue to produce heavy over the next few days.
