DETROIT – We’ll be ringing in the new year with some rain and snow chances around Southeast Michigan.

New Year’s Eve, Day forecast for Metro Detroit

For New Year’s Eve on Sunday, clouds will increase and will bring chances for rain and snow to end the year. This wintry mix is possible all throughout the day Sunday.

Highs will be in the upper 30s Sunday afternoon.

On Monday, we’ll kick off 2024 with some much-needed sunshine and January-like temperatures. Expect partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s.
