Looking ahead to the end of the weekend on Sunday, we will keep a little more cloud cover into the forecast as an area of low pressure works south of Metro Detroit. There is a chance of a few rain showers throughout the day on Sunday as well. These rain showers will not make the day a complete washout, especially if you’re heading downtown to Motor City Pride, high temperatures into the lower 70s by Sunday afternoon.

Chances for rain showers will stick around the forecast for the first part of next week on Monday, with an isolated rain shower along with some sunshine returning to the forecast for Tuesday. High temperatures of the middle 70s can be expected both Monday and Tuesday.

Once that frontal boundary pulls off to the east, we will dry things out, looking ahead into the second half of next week. High temperature is warming back into more summer like values. Expect high at the lower 80s on Wednesday, then into the middle 80s for Thursday.

Our next chance of rain moves into the region for the end of the week on Friday, then a few thunderstorms are possible for the start of next weekend on Saturday. High temperatures into the lower 80s on Friday drop into the upper 70s by the first part of next weekend.
