DETROIT – A lingering shower or two will remain possible near the Ohio state line early today. Otherwise, cooler and less humid build in today.
More clouds than sun though midday before we start to see some sunshine work its way in later this afternoon/evening. Highs will be noticeably more comfortable, topping out on either side of 80. Highs will trend a bit cooler in the Thumb (in the 70s).
Tuesday could possibly be the pick day of the week with dry, less muggy and seasonable conditions on tap. Highs will be in the mid-80s.
Shower and storm potential returns mid-late week with temperatures trending back above average.
As a warm front lifts the storm potential increases by Wednesday afternoon and looking like a slight afternoon chance on Thursday as well. Otherwise, plan for thunderstorm chances each day the rest of the week. Temperatures will rise back above average as we head into the weekend.
