Sunshine, summer heat and humidity continue for Metro Detroit this weekend

Sunshine will continue for the start of the weekend with more summer heat and humidity sticking around as well (WDIV)

After sunshine and warmer temperatures to end the week on Friday, we will continue that trend of summer heat and humidity looking ahead into the upcoming weekend.

The dry weather sticks around looking ahead into the weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Mostly sunny skies can be expected both days. High temperatures heading into the lower 90s on Saturday, then the low to mid 90s by the time we get to the end of the weekend on Sunday.

With the increase in humidity, looking ahead through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend, and our high temperatures forecast to be under the 90s through the weekend and early next week as well, expect he didn’t value to warm into the mid upper 90s starting on Saturday and continuing into the start of next week on Monday.

While we keep the chance of an isolated thunderstorm into the forecast on Friday, we really don’t get a chance of more widespread showers and thunderstorms moving into the region until the middle of next week.

We’re expecting a chance of thunderstorms to move in late on Monday night, then stick around into Tuesday and Wednesday as another cold front presses on through the region. High temperature is dropping into the upper 80s looking ahead into Tuesday and Wednesday.

We will keep the chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm into the forecast looking ahead into the end of next week for Thursday and Friday. High temperatures remaining in the mid to upper 80s, and back to near 90 degrees by Friday.
