4Warn Weather – Storms are expected to bring a brief break from the heat and humidity in Metro Detroit.
Tuesday - Storm timing, biggest threats
An approaching cold front will bring a few thunderstorms this evening, ending by midnight.
Metro Detroit is under a marginal risk for severe weather, which is a level 1 out of 5 on the scale.
Some storms could be strong to severe with high winds and heavy rain as the primary threats.
Unlike our recent storms, the ones that come through Tuesday night will actually scour out some of the humidity rather than leave us feeling like a steam bath.
