4Warn Weather – A break from the extreme heat and humidity this week, but still warmer than normal.

What a great start to the workweek.

Temps for most of the day stayed in the mid to upper 70s with low humidity.

Our normal high for this time of year is 81 degrees, and we will be slightly above that for the next several days.

Overnight skies will be partly cloudy with lows in the mid-60s.

By daybreak, a few showers with a couple of rumbles of thunder move in but will likely dissipate by early afternoon. Highs stay in the low 80s.

A relatively dry rest of the week is expected, with our next chance for rain arriving on Saturday with the arrival of a cold front.

However, at this time, the chances of measurable rain are very slim. So don’t cancel your plans! Temperatures will be cooler next week.
