Wet start midweek, but sunshine returns just in time for Labor Day weekend in Metro Detroit

4Warn Weather – A cold front is expected to bring showers on Thursday.

A nice evening in Metro Detroit with partly cloudy skies and temps in the upper 60s.

Overnight clouds continue to fill in, and lows drop to 55 degrees.

Thursday

Thursday starts out dry, but by late morning and into the afternoon, showers and possibly the rumble of thunder cover parts of the area.

Any storms will be winding down by 8 p.m.

Friday

Cooler temperatures are expected for Friday, with highs in the low 70s.

Then a long stretch of dry weather gets us through the weekend and into next week.

Labor Day

Labor Day is looking beautiful with sunshine and temps in the upper 70s.
