After some sunshine to end the week, we are going to continue the sunshine, looking ahead into the upcoming weekend, and keep reasonable temperatures into the forecast as well.
For Saturday, we will keep a mixture of sunshine and clouds into the forecast thanks to an upper level disturbance that will be swinging through the region late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening. There is a chance of an isolated shower north of the region, but we will stay dry as we head throughout the day. High temperatures remaining a few degrees below average, into the middle 50s by Saturday afternoon.
Once that disturbance moves off to the east, we will clear things out after midnight tonight and then this Sunday morning. Mostly sunny skies can be expected by the end of the weekend. Temperatures will remain on the chilly side of things, into the middle 50s by the end of the weekend on Sunday.
The sunshine continues into the first few days of next week, expect mostly sunny skies for Monday before the more cloud cover rolls into the forecast by the time we get to Tuesday and into Wednesday. High temperatures warming into the middle 50s to start next week, before dropping into the lower 50s by the time we get to Wednesday.
One change to the forecast is, we have taken the chances of rain out of the forecast until we get closer to the end of the week. We’re going to watch an area of low pressure developed to our north and west by the middle of the week, and right now the data swings that low pressure system far south enough of the region, that we would just seen an increase in cloud cover, but would remain dry until closer to the end of the week.
This keeps partly cloudy skies into the forecast through Thursday, before that chance of rain is possible late Thursday night and into the end of the week on Friday. Temperatures getting colder by the time we get to the end of the week as well. High temperatures only into the lower 50s by Thursday and into the end of next week for Halloween on Friday as well.
