Winter storm warning issued for Lenawee, Livingston, Washtenaw counties ahead of weekend snowstorm

4-6 inches of snow expected Saturday into Sunday morning

DETROIT – A winter storm warning has been issued for Lenawee, Livingston, and Washtenaw counties ahead of a significant snowstorm approaching this weekend.

It’s in effect from 3 p.m. Saturday until 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The 4Warn Weather team is expecting our area to receive 4-6 inches of snow from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.

Snow is expected to start around 3 p.m. Saturday, but the main window for the heaviest snowfall is from 6 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.

Once the snow starts, driving conditions are expected to quickly deteriorate.

Local 4 has issued a 4Warn Weather Alert for Saturday into Sunday morning because we expect this winter storm to significantly impact a major travel weekend.
