Breezy and milder today with a slight chance of wintry mix this morning (mainly north) followed by scattered light rain showers this afternoon. Highs in the low 40s. We could see gusts peak around 30 mph this afternoon with the approaching clipper system. That will result in cooler wind chills.
Tomorrow
Snow showers return Wednesday and Wednesday night as arctic air moves in behind a cold front. Accumulations look to be between a dusting to an inch for of most of the area, with 3-4 inches possible along the Lake Huron shoreline where lake effect banding will persist.
Rest of the Week
We will be much colder to end the week heading into the weekend. Thursday and Friday morning wind chills drop to around zero degrees. Also, we will have off and on chances for snow Friday through the weekend.
MLK Day
Frigid Martin Luther King Junior Day this year. Morning lows ill be in the single digits and feeling closer to zero. Highs will struggle to reach 20.
