4Warn Weather – Gusty winds, snow showers, and sub-zero wind chills are gripping Metro Detroit this evening.

By Tuesday morning, wind chills will be between five and 15 degrees below zero. And we’re not done with this dangerously cold winter just yet.

Tuesday

Tuesday’s highs will be in the teens, but it will feel like it’s below zero all day long.

Snow arrives overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning, affecting the morning commute.

Wednesday

Wednesday’s highs will return to the upper 20s to low 30s, allowing salt to be a bit more effective in the afternoon.

Thursday

Thursday will be quiet, yet cold with wind chills remaining in the single digits.

Friday

Friday morning through the weekend, the coldest air so far this year arrives, with morning lows below zero and wind chills as low as -20 or lower.
