Snow will last the longest, into Monday morning, near the Lake Huron shoreline due to lake effect.

With temperatures in the teens during the evening salt isn’t able to help our road conditions, so if you do have to be out make sure to take it slow and allow extra time to reach any destination. Locations across all of Southeast Michigan are reporting slick roads and visibility around one mile.

Overnight low temperatures will be in the single digits with wind chills around -5°.

Monday features scattered light lake effect snow showers with some sun through the clouds. Highs will be in the mid teens with wind chills in the single digits.

Overnight Monday into Tuesday temperatures will be near 0°. Wind chills, however, will be around -15° to -20°, which has prompted the Detroit National Weather Service to issue a Cold Weather Advisory. This will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. Monday until 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.
