DETROIT – A 4Warn Weather Alert continues this morning due to a Cold Weather Advisory that remains in effect until 10AM. However, the dangerously cold wind chills are not over.
Light snow showers are expected to produce a dusting to less than an inch of accumulation today with a slight chance for isolated snow squalls with the gusty winds. Highs today will be in the teens, but wind chills remain below zero throughout much of the day.
A few flurries are possible on Wednesday then the dangerous cold returns.
Windchills Thursday morning are expected to be in the 10 to 15 degree below zero range and wind chills Friday morning are expected to be in the 15 to 20 degree below zero range. Actual air temperatures on Friday morning will likely dip between 7 to 10 below.
