DETROIT – Finally rising above freezing today! Temperatures will be relatively mild across Metro Detroit with highs on either side of 40.
Today will end a 19-day streak in which highs at Detroit Metro Airport have not exceeded 32 degrees.
We turn about ten degrees colder Wednesday through Friday where highs will be closer to average in the low 30s. We will be a bit breezy on Wednesday, but will remain relatively dry through Friday with a few isolated chances for flakes, but no accumulation.
Our next chance for rain/snow currently looks to be Sunday, and not all models agree on that. Long-range temperature outlooks keep us above average through the end of February.
