DETROIT – Back to reality! Cooler today and a bit breezy. The daily high temperatures was shortly after midnight at 36 degrees, but we will spend the afternoon around freezing and feeling more like teens with the wind chill. Wind gusts today will be out of the northwest over 20 mph.
Dry weather with temperatures near average through Thursday, then a slight warm-up Friday through this weekend. If you have dinner plans on Valentine’s Day, you can count on dry and above average temperatures in the upper 30s.
Ready for warmer days? Long range models are pulling in 50s and 60s by the tail end of the 10 day forecast. We are still too far out to lock into those temperatures as there is some conflicting data, but we are highly confident that at the very least we will be above average.
