From sunshine to soggy to cold: Tracking this week’s weather shift in Metro Detroit

Tuesday highs in lower 40s; Wednesday highs in upper 50s

4Warn Weather – It’s time to live in the moment, and on Monday, that meant sunshine and temps in the upper 40s to low 50s.

An uptick in wind has cleared the air enough to lift the air quality advisory.

Tuesday

Winds will once again be calm overnight, allowing patchy fog to develop by the time you head out for your morning commute on Tuesday.

Tuesday brings a few more clouds and slightly lower highs than Monday, still above average in the mid to upper 40s.

Wednesday

Rain arrives along with a warm front Tuesday night into Wednesday.

This means a soggy morning commute but also a warm one.

Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 50s.

Weekend forecast

Noticeably colder by the weekend, with highs returning to the 30s.
