4Warn Weather - This week may not be favored by cold and snow enthusiasts as warm temperatures continue to stay in the forecast.
Midday temperatures Monday were already surpassing 50° in many neighborhoods.
Presidents’ Day afternoon highs will reach the low to mid 50s in most locations with 40s closer to the shoreline. We’ll continue to see sun and clouds for the rest of the day.
Winds have increased out of the southwest at 10-15 mph with gusts into the low 20s. Winds are helping to improve our air quality along with bringing in some warmer air.
Tuesday will be dry but cooler with highs in the lower 40s.
We’ll see additional cloud cover as the next system approaches, bringing rain overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
Wednesday afternoon looks to be drier but we could see a big spread in temperatures - warmer southward, cooler into the northern thumb region - as a warm front moves across the region.
Highs Thursday will be around 50° before falling to the mid 40s Friday. Afternoon temps this weekend will be closer to normal in the 30s.
