Fog Formation
Fog continues to develop this morning with locally dense fog possible. Freezing fog can’t be ruled out given that air temperatures are below freezing, so moisture could freeze over at the surface. This could lead to slick spots, especially on elevated surfaces like ramps, bridges and overpasses.
Air Quality
An Air Quality Advisory is in effect until noon. Pollutants within these areas are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range. It is recommended that, when possible, you avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory diseases like asthma.
Spring-Like Weather
We remain above average through the work week. Highs on this Presidents Day will be close to 50.
We fall back into the 40s tomorrow before soaring to around 60 on Wednesday. Our next chance for precipitation comes Tuesday night and Wednesday. All rain is expected with a rumble of thunder possible.
We will fall to 50 degrees on Thursday and even though we will be cooler on Friday, highs will remain above average in the mid-40s. However, as we slide back below freezing late Friday, a chance for rain could chance to a mix later in the day.
