Morning commute impacted by widespread fog, wet roads midweek in Metro Detroit

Wednesday highs in lower 60s; Thursday highs in upper 40s

Rain will also move in and may be heavy at times.

If you live in the Thumb, there may also be a brief period of freezing rain.

Lows drop to around 38 degrees, but closer to freezing north of I-69.

Wednesday

On Wednesday morning, dense, widespread fog could hinder the commute, along with wet roads and rain.

Highs on Wednesday range from the upper 30s to the low 60s, south of I-94.

Rain will taper off in the afternoon with winds gusting over 20mph.

Thursday

Temps return to the mid to upper 40s Thursday.

Dry until around 6 p.m.-7 p.m. when rain returns.

Colder for the weekend with highs returning to the 30s.
