4Warn Weather – A quick-moving clipper system will bring snow showers to Metro Detroit starting around 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

This is a few hours later than originally planned.

Great news for the evening commute, which will be dry across the area.

After 9 p.m., snow showers will drop enough snow to make the roads a bit slippery if you work an overnight shift.

Wednesday

Most of the snow should be done by the Wednesday morning commute.

Then, mid-morning, a few more snow showers will dot the area.

Overall, expect one to two inches with a few bursts of snow, resulting in a quick accumulation.

There is also the possibility of an additional minor accumulation on Wednesday, especially up into the thumb.

By Friday, temps return to the 40s, setting ourselves up for a quiet weekend.
