Dense fog to blanket Metro Detroit overnight after rain causes roadway ponding

Friday highs in upper 50s; Saturday lower in upper 60s

4Warn Weather – Rain will continue moving out Thursday evening, but there is still significant ponding on the roadways.

Our next issue will be fog once again.

Dense fog will overspread all of Metro Detroit Thursday night and will hang in the air through the morning commute.

Friday

The fog will burn slowly on Friday morning, then eventually clear, leaving cloudy skies through much of the day.

Highs on Friday reach the mid to upper 50s.

Saturday

Showers and thunderstorms return Friday night into Saturday.

Some storms could be strong with damaging winds and hail.

Saturday afternoon, most of the rain should be gone, and high winds will likely cause some issues.

Gusts as high as 40-45mph will usher in some very warm air with highs in the mid to possibly upper 60s.

Sunday

Sunday will be dry and mild with highs in the upper 50s.
