Cooler, sunnier start to weekend in Metro Detroit before warmer weather arrive

Saturday highs in lower 40s, Sunday highs in upper 50s

4Warn Weather – Metro Detroit started the week with snow showers and ended it with sunshine.

In between, the region had 70s and severe weather. A slightly calmer weather pattern is setting up for the weekend.

Friday

Overnight, there could be a few flakes, especially up into the Thumb. Temperatures drop to around 28 degrees.

Saturday

Abundant sunshine for Saturday, but it will be quite cold with temperatures below normal in the low to mid 40s.

We should be around 51 degrees this time of year.

Sunday

There will be a few clouds on Sunday as warmer air pushes back in. Highs will reach the upper 50s by late afternoon.

Next week

Monday starts out dry and warm with highs returning to the low 60s.

Then the chance of rain returns for the rest of the week, including Opening Day. Stay tuned!
