4Warn Weather - Sunday evening will feature temperatures falling through the 30s and 40s. We’ll hang on to some sun between the clouds, along with the chance to see spotty rain, graupel, or wintry mix. West-northwest winds gradually lighten, dropping to around 15-20 mph with gusts in the mid 20s.
Southeast Michigan will dry out tonight with skies turning mainly clear. This will help temperatures to fall into the 20s.
A Freeze Warning will be in effect for almost all of Southeast Michigan from 11:00 p.m. Sunday night until 11:00 a.m. Monday morning.
Temperatures in the lower to middle 20s this time of year can cause damage to crops or kill sensitive vegetation if they are not properly covered/protected. Unprotected outdoor plumbing could also be damaged.
Even under mostly sunny skies, Monday will be chilly through the afternoon with high temperatures only in the mid 40s. Winds will be out of the northwest around 5-10 mph.
Monday night will be cool with lows in the mid 30s.
We’ll turn warmer Tuesday with highs reaching the mid 60s to near 70°. Expect a few more clouds with the chance for a few sprinkles overnight into early Wednesday.
Afternoon temperatures Wednesday will be around 70 before we finish the workweek with mid 70s.
The next best chance for rain across Metro Detroit will be Friday and Saturday.
