4Warn Weather - Southeast Michigan has experienced breezy southwest winds throughout Sunday thanks to a warm front to the north. This helped boost temperatures into the 60s this afternoon, and will keep us mild tonight.
Overnight lows will be near normal tonight, falling to the mid 40s.
Winds will stay out of the southwest overnight at 10-15 mph, gusting to around 20 mph at times. Cloud cover decreases, giving way to plenty of sun for much of Monday.
Monday will be warm with afternoon temperatures soaring into the 70s.
It’ll be breezy again tomorrow with steady southwest winds at 10-20 mph and gusts to around 30 mph.
Most of the day will be dry, but you’ll notice increasing clouds during the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms look to develop in the evening with a passing cold front.
There is a Marginal Risk (a level 1 out of 5) for severe weather with the main time frame looking to be between 5-10 p.m. Monday.
Although rain looks to be scattered Monday night into early Tuesday morning, showers will become widespread by midday Tuesday.
Rain will continue into the evening with up to 3/4″ of rainfall expected.
The chance for rain will linger into Wednesday and Thursday.
On the backside of this cold front temperatures will be cooler, too.
Highs Tuesday will be in the lower 60s while Wednesday and Thursday afternoon temperatures will be in the mid 50s.
