Forecast Update: From Scattered To Severe Storm Chances
THIS MORNING: Scattered rain and isolated thundershowers around Metro Detroit with temps in the low to mid 40s. Most of the wet weather will fade after 9am.
TUESDAY: Most of the day will be mostly cloudy and dry with a few isolated showers. Temps will be in the mid to upper 50s through the afternoon and then spiking near 60F by early evening. A warm front followed by a swift moving cold front will activate the skies this evening bringing a chance for severe storms to Metro Detroit from 8pm to midnight Tuesday: Hail & gusty winds mainly.
WEDNESDAY: Early morning showers move out and the sun battles back in for the warmest day of the week from mid 60s to near 70F and breezy W 10-20 mph.
THURSDAY: A cold front moves through SE Lower Michigan with morning showers and then gusty winds. Spotty drizzle and 40s through the afternoon with winds WNW 15-30 gusting 30-40 mph.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 40s and still breezy.
