Local 4Casters: Rainy with a chance of storms Thursday morning

Highs near 70

DETROIIT – Thursday's wet morning is expected to continue into the early afternoon, possibly a thunderstorm before 1 p.m. Most of the metro Detroit area will see less than an inch of rain.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Lenawee and Monroe Counties until 11 a.m., as those areas could receive up to 1-3 inches of rain.

Metro Detroit will struggle to reach a high of 70 degree today. Winds will be out of the east at 10 to 13 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

Tonight temps will drop into the 50s and fog will roll in ahead of the warmer temperatures. The fog should lift before the Friday morning rush hour drive, giving way to partly sunny skies and a high of 82 degrees. Eighty-degree temps will stick around through the weekend and the start of next week.
