Metro Detroit weather forecast: Highs in the 50s Monday

DETROIT – Skies are trying to clear, but a few spotty, light showers are possible around Metro Detroit this morning.

The bigger story is the cool air as we wake Monday morning to upper 30s and low 40s so grab a jacket. Skies will clear out nicely through the morning with a blend of sun and clouds through the lunch hour.

Highs today will struggle to get out of the 50s as cloud cover returns at times today without any more rain except areas around Lake Huron. The winds WNW 5-12 mph will keep some clouds coming and going and keep our temps down.

Tuesday forecast

We will wake up to similar temps tomorrow under clear skies and cool conditions in the 30s to low 40s early Tuesday. Skies will be mostly sunny most of tomorrow and the breezes will start picking up SW 10-20 mph which will help to warm Metro Detroit into the mid 60s. We are in for a dry week, but it will be bright and slowly warming.

Wednesday forecast
