Muggy start with rain chances later

Could reach 90 degrees today

DETROIT – A muggy morning to start this Wednesday!

Today's high temperature could possibly reach 90F again.

We are tracking a cold front that may bring scattered thunderstorms this afternoon, wrapping up around 10 p.m.

Most of the day we will see a mix of sun and clouds.

Areas west of Howell could see a few scattered showers after lunchtime.

The rest of Metro Detroit can expect to see scattered showers and possible storms after 4pm.

The storms will bring gusty winds at times and the possibility of heavy rain with a marginal risk of the storms being severe, but we will quickly dry things out overnight with a low in the mid 60s.

We won't see a big dip in temperatures once the front passes.

The rest of the seven day forecast has temperatures reaching the 80s each day.

Expect tomorrow to be sunny, highs in the upper 80s and winds out of the west at 7-17mph with stronger gusts at times.
