ANN ARBOR – Now through Friday, the Humane Society of Huron Valley will be offering $10 adult dog and cat adoptions in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.

In addition to the special adoption rate, customers will enjoy 10% off pet supplies purchased at the shelter’s “Paws to Shop” store and the first 125 people to come in will receive free pet bandanas.

On Wednesday, the facility will celebrate “Customer Appreciation Day” and all are invited to enjoy free activities and treats from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Although HSHV was founded in 1896, this anniversary marks ten years in its state-of-the-art animal care facility.

“We can’t wait to celebrate with the community, who helped build this incredible animal care facility and keep our life-saving services running every day through volunteering, donating, adopting, and more," HSHV President and CEO Tanya Hilgendorf said in a statement.

“Because of their support, HSHV is now an award-winning organization offering help, healing, and protection for thousands of animals and the people who love them each year, and stands as a testament to the humanity of our community.”
