DETROIT – Two days after dropping 16 points to lead the Detroit Pistons to an overtime win over the Miami Heat, former Michigan Wolverines star Tim Hardaway Jr . visited Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer.
Hardaway Jr. teamed up with Wish Upon a Teen on Wednesday (Dec. 19) to provide children with a room makeover on Moross Road in Detroit.
Design My Room is an exclusive Wish Upon a Teen program for teens facing extended hospitalization due to life-threatening illness or serious injury.
Hardaway Jr. visited with children and their families while helping decorate rooms, signing autographs, handing out gifts, and visiting children and families in the NICU.
